Complot A/W 2012 campaing with Charlotte Free.

At the start I really didn't know what "Complot" was when I was at YouTube searching newlestters about Charlotte Free and I found this brand new campaing she starred, but after I found out that it's a new kingdom in approachable clothing world. This shop, from Argentina, sells approachable clothing on edgy designs with prices between 5€ and  200€. Unfortunately there are only a few shops wich are in Argentina, so if you shop online the international shipping is quite expensive, but well, clothes are 'cheap & cool'. Here's the video of the campaing in a bit - agressive bit - angelical tone:

Español: Al principio realmente, no sabía lo que era "Complot" cuando estaba buscando boletines de noticias en YouTube sobre Charlotte Free y encontré esta nueva campaña que protagonizó, pero después encontré que es un nuevo reino dentro del mundo de la ropa asequible. Esta tienda de Argentina, vende ropa asequible con diseños de vanguardia que presenta un margen de precios entre los 5€ y 200€. Desafortunadamente sólo hay unas pocas tiendas y todas ellas en Argentina, así que si quieres comprar online, los gastos de envío son bastante elevados, pero bueno, las ropas son 'cheap & cool'. At the end. It's spring!

Ok, so then spring came, and with it my flower feelings (WTF?), I mean, I'm listening and discovering new - old music or how I call it "inspiring - vintage" music, such as the band - Girls , the Hunx, some Lana del Rey, Russian Red,(+ at Sub Pop records) until I turn on a tearful lonely teenager and then, I decide to stop and go listen to rock and metal and just to take a rest from all the strawberry cake in my brain and feelings; anyway this emergent "new" indie music genre wich involves kinda grunge vibes mixed with retro sounds wich results great! and I'm lately getting inspired on it for my drawings (and stuff), if you like groups such as Hole, Violent Femmes or Girl trouble, you will love this music.

And well, this image below, just shows how I did take all the strawberry cake of my brain, and I put it on a paper sheet, while I was at school, doing nothing.

Español: Vale, así que la primavera llegó, y con ella mis sentimientos floreados (WTF?), quiero decir; estoy escuchando y descubriendo nueva-vieja música o como yo la llamo música " vintage-inspiradora", así pues bandas cómo - Girls, The Hunx, algo de Lana del Rey, Russian Red (+ en Sub Pop records), hasta que me convierto en una adolescente llorona y solitaria, entonces decido parar y escucho música rock y metal hasta la saciedad, y para tomarme un respiro de toda la tarta de fresa que hay en mi cerebro y en mis sentimientos; de todos modos este "nuevo" género de música indie emergente que envuelve unas cuantas vibraciones grunge mezcladas con sonidos retro, que resulta genia! y me inspira últimamente en mis dibujos (y de más), si te gustan grupos como Hole, Violent Femmes o Girl trouble, te encantará esta música.

Y bueno, ésta imagen de aquí abajo simplemente mustra cómo cogí toda la tarta de fresa de mi cerebro, y la puse en una hoja de papel, mientras estaba en el colegio, haciendo nada.

WHOA !! here I go again, my friends, and I'm so happy... guess why?... Mia Wasikowska is Miu Miu's new face. This label has been choosen, to star their campaigns, young, emerging, awesome and inspirational girls such as  Hailee Steinfield ,the girl who starred last fall (& gorgeous) collection, inspired on the 40s, in a retro air. Hailee Steinfield; known by her nomination to the Oscars (best actress award) by her role in True Grit, became one of the most young nominated-to- the -Oscars actress and takes part in the list of the chosen.

WHOA!! Aquí estoy otra vez, amig@s mi@s, y ...estoy tan feliz.. adivinad qué?...Mia Wasikowska es la nueva cara de Miu Miu. Ésta firma ha estado escogiendo, para protagonizar sus campañas a chicas jóvenes, alucinantes, emergentes y que son fuente de inspiración  como Hailee Steinfield, la chica que protagonizó la última (y maravillosa) colección de otoño/invierno colección, inspirada en los años '40 con un aire retro. Hailee Steinfield, conocida por su nominación a los Oscars (mejor actriz de reparto) por su papel en Valor de Ley, se convirtió en una de las actrices más jóvenes en ser nominada a los Oscar y forma parte de la lista de elegidas.

And now Mia.W, do you remenmber the blonde cute and risky girl who got the role of Alice in Almost Alice ?, So there she is. Showing a "neo- barroque" air in this new season.

Pink Ladies

DAKOTA joins a long line of really rosy babes.

When Dakota Fanning was caught by paparazzi rocking pink-tipped hair, she joined a tradition of Pink Ladies that starts with a 1999 cover of NYLON Magazine.  In the issue, Gwen Stefani poses with pink pigtails on the cover, shot by Terry Richardson.

Around the same time, Kate Moss walked the Chloe catwalk during Stella McCartney's first season with magenta hair and a blue evening gown; later, she starred in a Juergen Teller portrait series with lighter bubblegum locks.  

Then came Avril's music videos, and Natalie Portman in Closer, and a general return to pink-as-faux-punk - followed by Kirsten Dunst rocking pink wigs in Sofia Coppola's version of Marie Antoinette.

And slowly, the fashion world started going rose again.  There was the Bleach London wave with Mary Charteris, Sky Ferreira, and Pixie Geldof rocking hot pink hair in the front row of major Paris catwalks.  There was Charlotte Free and her quick rise to the top of Vivienne Westwood and Jeremy Scott's casting lists.  And Rihanna and Katy Perry made pink a pop statement.

This season, Dianna Agron, streak her hair with highlighter colors for the new season of Glee..  And now Dakota, looking adorable with her hair the color of LipSmackers strawberry gloss.

Cuando un paparazzi pilló a Dakota Fanning luciendo su pelo teñido de color rosa, se unió a una tradición de "Pink Ladies" que empezó en 1999 con una portada de la Nylon magazine. En esta edición Gwen Stefani posa con trenzas cortas de color rosa, capturada por Terry Richardson. 

 Por aquellas fechas Kate Moss desfiló por la pasarela durante la primera colección de Stella McCartney con el pelo color magenta llevando un vestido de tarde  azul; más tarde protagonizó una sesión fotográfica para Juergen Teller con las puntas del pelo color chicle. 

Entonces vinieron los videos musicales de Avril Lavigne y Natalie Portman en Closer y en general el retorno del rosa como "faux -punk" seguido por Kristen Dunst luciendo pelucas de color rosa en la versión de Maria Antonieta de Sofia Coppola. 

Y lentamente el mundo de la moda volvió a ser de color rosa.

Surgió una nueva ola de la cultura " Bleach London " con Mary Charteris, Sky Ferreira, y Pixie Gendolf luciendo un pelo de color rosa intenso en los front row de la mayoría de desfiles de la capital francesa.

 Estaba también Charlotte Free y su rápido ascenso en las listas de castings de los desfiles de Vivienne Westwood y Jeremy Scott.

 Y Rihanna, Katy Perry y Nicki Minaj  hicieron su declaración, rosa pop.

Esta vez, Diana Agron, remató su pelo con colores fluorescentes en la nueva temporada de Glee.

Y ahora Dakota se ve adorable con su pelo de color de gloss color rosa fresa.
