DIY FAN!

Lately I'm on this thing of DIY because I can't afford Nasty Gal's clothes (the cheappest thing is about 20$, and the money I have is about 20$), and because I really prefer DIY projects than buying bleached, or cutted -out stuff wich I can do myself , and if you find cool DIY videos on Youtube or just go on DIY blogs, you could save plenty of money and have cool stuff for your closet, just like I'm going to do, so I'm just posting some useful videos about clothes and stuff like dip dye on hair , that I found and wich are great.

Últimamente estoy en esto del DIY (Do it yourself), porque no me puedo permitir la ropa de Nasty Gal (la cosa más barata cuesta como 20$ y el dinero que tengo es ..20$), y porque prefiero los proyectos de DIY que comprarme cosas desteñidas, o cortadas que me puedo hacer yo misma, y si encuentras videos chulos de DIY en YouTube o simplemente buscar en blogs de DIY, podrás ahorrarte mucho dinero y tener cosas chulas en tu armario, cómo yo voy a hacer, así que voy a colgar algunos videos útiles y prácticos sobre ropa y dip dye en el pelo, que encontré y realmente son geniales.

And specially I love these DIY videos from this girl (YouTube channel: JustACurbsideProphet); she has some wonderful videos about "how to ... style and make up", and also a great style like 90s grunge kid, wich pretty looks like mine. Hope you like it:

Charlotte Free (returns) + Random curiosity

Dear Miss Free, you are amazing (LOL). While I was 'Checking out' spring runaways, I fortunately met another Charlotte Free's campaign, again, wich came available to the media (YouTube #YOLO)  one week ago. The campaign is from spring season of the brand Forever 21, wich is just on the distinctive tone of Miss Free, half -bubblegumpopstarteenager, half - teenrebelrocklolita, just lovely, and it's really one of the most inspiring girls for me, is like kind of punk-rocker without leaving appart her "Lolita side". 

About the brand, I must say that I like it (and it's weird that I like something on "massive quantity" ), they always have several styles availables, I mean, they don't sell something just because it's a trend, they always have two styles, or how I call it they have a "downtown style" and an "uptown" one. It's also a brand that is ahead of the trends; I'm not a trend-fan, (view trends as 70's style, color block, baseball jackets, and the well-known style in my enviroment that I call "the tumblr style" wel: short-shorts, oversized tops,etc.) but I really like this one, because 'grunge is back'... well, maybe I'm not happy for that fact, it kinda annoys me although I'm still quite happy by two basic reasons, 1- They think (and thought) I'm crazy because I wear broken tights (and fishnets), long wavy hair, floral dresses, total-black converse, denim jackets, old sweaters, original 90's graphic tees, and the fact that I like(d) punk and grunge music, and after, all of them they'll wear it and will be obliged to say they like it ( Well, who laughs the last?); 2- At least, after all these years, I could buy dresses that I like in every store I go (well, we'll see that) and I could buy them with MY OWN money.

Mientras hacía un 'Check Out' a las pasarelas de esta primavera, volví a  encontrarme fortuitamente con Charlotte Free y otra de las campañas que salió a los medios (YouTube #YOLO) hace una semana para la bien conocida marca de ropa Forever 21. La campaña de primavera de Forever 21 bueno, que decir, simplemente, está en el tono distintivo de la Srta Free, medio - bubblegumpopstarteenager, y otro medio - teenrebelrocklolita, simplemente adorable, y realmente es una de las chicas que más me inspiran, es una especie de punk-rocker sin dejar alejado su "Lolita - side".

Sobre la marca, he de decir que me gusta (y eso que es díficil que algo en masa me guste), siempre tienen varios estilos disponibles, es decir, no sólo porque se lleve algo es lo único que venden, siempre disponen cómo lo llamo yo un estilo "uptown" y otro "downtown". También es una marca que se adelanta a las tendencias; no soy muy fan de las tendencias, (véase la tendecia años 70, color block, las beísboleras y el ya bien conocido en mi entorno y cómo yo lo llamo "tumblr style", bueno, los shorts-shorts, y las camisas oversize, etc.) pero en esta que viene realmente me gustará porque vuelve el grunge, no estoy muy contenta por lo de que se convierta en tendencia, eso me molesta aunque por otra parte estoy contenta por dos razones básicas 1- piensan (y pensaban) que estoy loca cuando me ven con vestidos floreados, medias de rejilla, pelo largo y ondulado al natural, y zapatillas converse totalmente negras, camisetas con gráficos originales de los 90, viejas sudaderas y que me gusta(ba) la música punk y grunge, y después todas lo llevarán y se sentirán obligadas a decir que les gusta (¿quién rie el último?); y 2- Al fin, trás años de no comprarme vestidos, voy a poder disfrutando haciéndolo, porque al fin me gustarán los que venden (bueno eso ya se verá) y me los puedo comprar con MI dinero.

This life sux (a little)

I'm going to be busy again, with school; Well, just like on this last days, I have to do homework and exams, proyects, earn some money, learn to use the camera, book some outfits... although I love my blog, I have plenty stuff to do and as I mentioned before I'll try to post something occasionally ... -.-' (sucks)
Voy a estar ocupada otra vez, con el colegio; bueno como en estos últimos días, tengo que hacer deberes y exámenes, trabajos, ganar algo de dinero, aprender a utilizar la cámara, buscar outfits... aunque me encante mi blog, tengo muchas cosas que hacer y cómo he dicho anteriormente intentaré hacer algún post de vez en cuando... -.-' (sucks)

We all know who Kurt Cobain was, and If you don't, I'm sorry but I'm not going to copy the Wikipedia article, so Google it!, anyway most of Nirvana fans miss Kurt, (me included) I just wanted to make was just  a reminder of him, wich is one of my idols, he gave me hope on music, wich is already gone,... well anyone who has turned on the radio on this days, knows what I'm talking about (that sh*t).

 

I don't have any favourite song from Nirvana, but this ones are pretty close of  how I feel about this. 

Bad news don't finish here, also, Layne Staley, the lead singer from Alice In Chains. The died the same as Kurt Cobain, but in 2002. 

Another grunge idol was gone; yes, today is a sad day for grunge music fans.
